My, doesn’t that sound familiar…

Huh.

So there were some voting irregularities yesterday in Ohio, where the guy responsible for the electoral mess here in ’04 won his primary race in his attempt to become the governor.

Sound familiar? Sure does to me. Meanwhile, let me offer a campaign slogan for him: “Ken Blackwell–because Katharine Harris can’t be everywhere.”

Look, it’s really common sense. You take control of the elections away from partisan elected officials and make them the province of a non- or multi-party commission.

Also, a fond farewell to noted punster and TV economist Louis Rukeyser, who once said in response to a viewer’s letter asking about investing in a hairpiece manufacturer, “If all your money seems to be hair today and gone tomorrow, we’ll try to make it grow by giving you the bald facts on how to get your investments toupee.”
