And let me just say this about the 10th Doctor

We got ‘Christmas Invasion’ and ‘New Earth’ tonight. I wholeheartedly approve. Can’t wait for later episodes after the character’s settled in and they have a better handle on his style.

    Tennant rules. Nuff said.

Poor Jackie. She’s known two incarnations of The Doctor, and both have told her to shut up. If (when!) they do a Ten Doctors in 2008 (yeah, I’m activatin’ now for the Beeb to do that!), she’ll have eight more Doctors to tell her to shut up. :)

Semi Who related. Saw Dungeons & Dragons the other night. Tom Baker as a pointy-eared old elf is scary.

Oh.. yeah. You’ll love. Much much love. :-)

    My favorite moment….

“From the day they arrived on the planet, and blinking step into the sun. There’s more to see and more to do, and more that’s ever been…. wait no…. that’s the Lion King. But the point still stands… Leave them alone!”

    It still makes me ROFLMAO

Apparently, the monitors in the TARDIS get the Disney Channel. :)

I think that’s what amuses me the most… that the Doctor actually knew a refernce like that and where it was from. Methinks he’s spent way too much time around the pesky humans. LOL

Yeah, I love that line too.
From what I’ve seen so far of this season (the first 4 eps) it’s quite good. I really like Tennant as the Doctor.

I’ve seen the whole season and yes… as much as I love Nine… Girl In The Fireplace really made me love Ten too.

Yes, we know Who you are.

It was a nice throwback to the first episode to have Jackie use the “Doctor who?” line, too. I like Jackie Tyler. She’s a total nutter, but she’s fun to watch. :)

just wait till the final two-parter – she’s practically a second companion in that story. and she and ten make a brilliant comedy team.

btw, i’m told they left the ‘tell the president i’m not his boss, and he’s not turning this into a war’ line in. good on ya, scifi.

Yes, they left in that line and I was tremendously amused by it. :)

So, Jackie will finally get to go somewhere in the TARDIS instead of just watching it disappear?

yep. although not entirely on purpose.

              Poor Jackie. XD

I love that they’re dealing with the family of the companion this time around. Previously, we barely even knew if a companion *had* a family. How does it feel to have one’s child galavanting off through time and space?

The *really* scary thing is, the more we get to know Jackie, the more she reminds me of MY mom.
