Nauseous yet?

Seen the 2006 Worldwide Press Freedom Index? Well, if you live in Finland, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Norway, Slovakia, Switzerland, Hungary, Latvia, Portugal, Slovenia, Belgium, Sweden, Austria, Bolivia, Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, New Zealand, Trinidad and Tobago, Benin, Germany, Jamaica, Namibia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Costa Rica, Cyprus, South Korea, Greece, Mauritius, Ghana, Australia, Bulgaria, France, Mali, Panama, Italy, El Salvador, Spain, Taiwan, South Africa, Cape Verde, Macedonia, Mozambique, Serbia and Montenegro, Chile, Israel, Japan, or the Dominican Republic, your press is more free than America’s. If you live in Botswana, Croatia or Tonga, it’s only as free.

This is not the country I was raised to believe in.

You lived under the illusion that you were free? Boy, were you conned. We were saying that back in the early 80’s at college.
