Oh, I think I’m going to enjoy watching the returns roll in Tuesday night.

Since when has Pat Buchanan been a voice of reason?

Buchanan worked for Nixon. He knows the line between corruption and pure evil.

Now y’see, you’ve gone and moved the goalposts again…

Personally, the line I’d be concerned about has both corruption and pure evil on the same side!

I don’t necessarily disagree with you…. I’m simply pointing out why Buchanan is being a voice of reason on this issue.

Funny how many former Nixon men have stepped forward to denounce Dumbass and Co. Buchanan and Dean come to mind first … is it just me, or has Kissinger been abnormally silent these last six years?

Kissinger is currently in the employ of BushCo. He’s not going to say anything.

I did not know that. What’s he doing for Dumbass? Or is he on a thinktank Daddy set up?

Yep, it came out in Woodward’s new book. Advising on the Iraq situation. Trying to re-fight Viet-Nam and win, basically.

Pat’s actually been a long-time critic of the Bush administration, pretty much ever since it began. The “neo-conservatives” pretty much are the flip-opposite of the Barry Goldwater conservative philosophy, which Pat more adheres to.

Well, not really Golwaterian conservatism–he was in on the proto-neocon Reagan administration. He seems to have gone back to his roots of late, though. I just find it strange to realize that he does have a conscience. I’d’ve debated that point in the 80s and 90s.
