WHOA! OH15 is back in play!

The vote totals I reported in the preceding post have been corrected by the Associated Press–the numbers they put out were wrong (they didn’t explain how). It is only a 3,000 vote lead for Deb, with 100% reporting and 30,000 absentee ballots to count!

As Jesse Jackson would say, “Keep hope alive!”–we might dump her yet!

I’ve never liked Pryce, and I finally figured out why. The last two mornings, the local news segments on NPR have featured statements from Pryce and Kilroy, since the race is still too close to call.

Pryce has been smug and arrogant, which is exactly what I expect from a W Republican. Wednesday morning she made a point of bashing Kilroy, instead of being gracious, and Thursday morning she kept saying that Kilroy should concede because that’s what she would have done. (We all know Pryce would never concede.) Pryce is vicious and catty and just plain not nice.

Not to mention wildly out of step with the city she “represents”. It’s my earnest hope that in the next redistricting, in ’10, they’lll just give Columbus a district, cut the conservative northern ‘burbs like Dublin and Wexley… er, New Albany with the rural outlying areas, and let us have someone who really does represent us.
