This is what happens when you focus on the real job.

Osama bin Laden is dead. This could’ve been accomplished years ago if Dubya hadn’t been screwing around in a nearby nation which had nothing to do with 9/11 — especially since bin Laden was finally caught in Pakistan and nowhere near Iraq. Kudos to the US forces involved.


Edit: Today, May 1, also happens to be the 8th anniversary of the Mission Accomplished speech. Now it is, or more accurately, it’s moved measurably closer.


Edit 2: Granted, I’m glad he’s dead, but the celebrations outside the White House look more like the way people celebrate a Superbowl or World Series victory, and strike me as a bit ghoulish.
